The Blue Hen

We are finally back in St. Augustine Florida; this time, to launch our Alberg 35, s/v Mystic and continue on our Great Loop Adventure. There is so much to do before we leave! And, there are still things we want to do while we are here.

The Blue Hen is a cute little neighborhood cafe that serves breakfast and lunch. It's been on our list of things to do since we discovered it on one of our walks through the Historic Lincolnville neighborhood of St Augustine. It's off the beaten path but it's very popular with locals as well as tourists. There is often a waiting line to get in but no one seems to care.

We ordered the breakfast burrito. a delicious combination of scrambled eggs, home fries, salsa and cheddar jack cheese all wrapped up in a tortilla shell and fried to a golden brown. It was the perfect amount of food and very reasonably priced. We had coffee with our meal and found our cup was never empty. The staff is friendly and attentive. We just loved this place. We highly recommend a visit!
