On The Road Again Spring 2020

February is coming to a close and my last day at the seasonal job I started last October is approaching quickly. I got lucky this year; finding a position that I enjoyed with people who do great work in meeting the needs of Minnesota's aging population. The five months I spent with this organization flew by with me learning and growing each day. I made many new friends including the best team mate I could have asked for, Mary Jo. I hope to return again next year for another opportunity to work with this wonderful, talented team. I'm ready to head back to cruising but I'm going to miss them.

Dave will work through the month of March, back out on the road for several Trade Shows. I am going to join him in Orlando and on Marco Island. Our yard here in Minnesota is packed with several feet of crusty accumulations of snow which makes the trip to Florida a wonderful tropical respite for us. When we leave Florida we'll head to one of our favorite locations, New York City. Our Alberg 35, S/V Mystic is on the hard in Avondale, Rhode Island at Frank Hall Marina. We'll take the train north to visit my family in Connecticut and check on Mystic at her winter resting spot.

We are getting close to returning for cruising season 2020 and are so darn excited about it! This year we will cruise the Erie Canal then enter back into the Great Lakes where we started this adventure. We plan to cross our wake (complete our Loop) in Detour, Michigan this fall.

Red is what we've completed
Blue is our course for 2020

There is so much to do before we launch! Heading back out on the road again sure makes it feel like our adventure has already begun!

On the road again
I can't wait to get on the road again
Goin' places that I've never been
Seein' things that I may never see again
and I can't wait to get on the road again.
