We like to see as much as we can whenever we travel. We brought our bikes to Boston with the hope that we could get out and get some exercise. We ended taking a long bike ride to the South End of Boston where the movie Good Will Hunting was based out of. We rode from Fort Independence to the Kennedy Library at UMASS along Dorchester Bay and Old Harbor. We had no idea that Boston has beautiful beaches in the South End. We covered 15 miles round trip. Many streets in Boston have a bike lane so biking is commonplace; still, it was unnerving riding along with the traffic. The South End is quieter than downtown and it has a nice bike path along the waterfront. Each new neighborhood we toured I thought, "This is my favorite!"

Our ride through the South End was one of the highlights of our visit. We would have liked spending more time there. Maybe next time!
