Love the bikes. They weren't there when we passed through.
I remember Hellas and the sponge bike. The day we visited it was cool and rainy. Your time was much better. Safe travels you two.
I wouldn't be surprised if the bikes were a local fundraising event, like painted horses, rams, cows, and Snoopys in other places. Great fun! Hugs!
