We were not sure what to expect during the trip through the industrial area of the Calumet River but were surprised and excited to see the beauty hidden in the tangle of industry. This is one of the work horse areas of our country. People labor here every day, under difficult conditions. It is hard, dirty work. As we motored by, I took over 400 photos in an attempt to capture that beauty frame by frame. This is a sampling of my photos.
